DIAMOND CUTTING BLADE

Diamond is the hardest material on Earth, respectively, the tool produced using diamond powder is designed for cutting solid constructing materials such as concrete, natural stone, ceramics, porcelain gres, and asphalt. In the production of diamond tools for construction, as a rule, synthetic diamond powder is used, which, at a relatively low cost in comparison with natural diamond, has a wide range of properties of strength, heat resistance and grain composition. This allows developing of diamond blades for various construction materials and cutting conditions, optimally selecting the characteristics of diamond powder and metal bond.

The diamond cutting blade consists of 3 main components:

1) diamond powder;

2) bond (which holds the diamond powder in the cutting layer);

3) steel body.

Depending on the applicability of the tool, various compositions of bond and diamond powders with different concentrations are laid in it. Each of the components is extremely important for the production of high-quality diamond tools.

TYPES OF DIAMOND CUTTING BLADES

According to the international classification of abrasive tools FEPA, there are several main types of diamond cutting blades:

1A1R is a diamond cutting blade with a continuous cutting edge, sometimes experts call it “Crown”. Blades of such form are used to work on angle grinders, which are commonly called “grinders”, desktop tile-cutting machines and stationary equipment. Giving a thin and clean cut. There are blades for working only with water, universal and those, that work in dry. To ensure higher cutting performance, some versions of blades are segmented using laser cutting. The diameters of the blades are 100-400 mm. The main materials for which 1A1R blades are used are ceramics, natural stone, porcelain gres.

1A1R Turbo is a diamond cutting blade with a turbocharged edge. The blades are used to work mainly in a dry-mode on angle grinder, less on tabletop machines. They provide an average clean cut, but have a speed higher, than the 1A1R blades. The blade diameters are 115-230 mm. Concrete, natural stone, brick, paving slabs are the main materials for which 1A1R Turbo blades are used.

1A1RSS is a segmented diamond cutting blade. The blades are used to work on angle grinder, power cutters, wall chaser and stationary equipment. When cutting, they can give small chips on the cutting edge, but at the same time they have higher performance and resistance to loads than 1A1R Turbo blades. The diameters of the blades are 115-1600 mm. Concrete, asphalt, natural stone, brick, construction blocks are the main materials for which 1A1RSS blades are used.

DIAMOND CUTTING BLADES PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGIES

There are various technologies of the production of diamond cutting blades. Depending on the technology, the price and quality of the tool varies, which affects the durability, performance and purity of the cut:

Hydrogen Inert Technology – sintering of the tool in protective and recovery environments. This technology allows you to produce large volumes of 1A1R, 1A1R Turbo and 1A1RSS semi-professional tools.

Hot Forged Technology – sintering takes place in metal molds under pressure and at high temperatures in an automatic cycle. This technology allows you to produce small volumes of 1A1R, 1A1R Turbo and 1A1RSS professional tools.

Laser Welding – the laser beam welds the joint between the segment and the steel body, forming a very strong monolithic seam. This technology makes it possible to produce professional 1A1RSS segment blades.

The Distar product line is full saturated with blades, manufactured by using various technologies, with different properties for most applications and different price range.

It is easy to purchase it in any city by various convenient ways:
