The 400 mm blade has a mounting hole that allows it to be attached to the equipment's spindle. The standard hole size is 25.4 mm (fitting most gas-powered and electric cut-off saws, as well as floor saws). Some blades have an additional locating hole that prevents the blade from spinning on the spindle during cutting. Gas-powered and electric cut-off saws usually do not have a locating pin, so blades without this hole are sufficient for such equipment. A floor saw, on the other hand, usually has an additional pin that fits into the locating hole, so you should choose a blade adapted to this solution.
