Every year, new types of porcelain stoneware tiles appear with increased frost resistance and wear resistance. Porcelain stoneware with a thickness of 14 and 20 mm is being used more and more often. Such materials are very difficult to cut with standard diamond blades — burning, blade deformation, and stalling during the cut can occur.
The Gres Master blade was created specifically for such demanding conditions. The involute turbo-grooved diamond layer effectively penetrates the hard material while cooling the cutting zone. The blade sinks smoothly even into the thickest porcelain stoneware.
Thanks to its very high performance, this is the fastest blade in the entire Distar line. It will also cut standard porcelain tiles, but at exceptionally high speed.
The edge quality is slightly inferior to Esthete and Decor Slim blades, but such cleanliness is often not required, especially where the tile joint will be covered by a molding.
Available in diameters of 115 and 125 mm. Designed for use on angle grinders without cooling.
