During the grinding of porcelain stoneware and granite, it is necessary to constantly change the grit of polishing discs. Usually, this is done in several ways, each with its drawbacks:
Removing the grinding disc from the base. The 'Velcro' base lasts for a few cycles, after which the disc no longer adheres to the base.
Changing bases along with the disc. This is time-consuming, and each reinstallation introduces runout.
Using several angle grinders with discs of different grits installed. This requires having multiple grinders at once.
